Boracay - World's Best Tropical Beach (Feb 26-March 1, 2009)
Getting there was easy for our group . After a 3 - hour drive from Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, we went to the Zambo Airport and at 6:40 am, Feb 26 the plane flew to Cebu and got there at almost 8 am. From 10 am we left Cebu via Cebu Pacific plane to Caticlan and got there at 11 am. We then proceeded to the pier of Caticlan and got our tickets for a boat ride to Boracay, which would only take 10 minutes.
Bora is indeed a great beach and probably the world's best. With its fine white sand which stretches along the shoreline of the 1, 083 ha island, wonderful diving sites, excellent hotels and top of it all, the number of tourists from all over the world, one can only say that Boracay is indeed, a top beach resort!

Gubawang Beach (Oct 12, 2008) - Naga, ZamboSibugay
It's my second time around here. This time, which coincided with the feast of Our Lady of the Pilar, I came here with some of my first year civil engineering students. It would take us less than a kilometer from the commercial town of Naga to get to the place. One has to move down a concrete staircase to get to the sand beach. We occupied on a cottage with 50 bucks payment. Parking a single motorcycle would cost 5 pesos (anyway, that would somehow give a security on one's property for a small amount). The beach is truly scenic with some rock formations, which blend well with the vegetation. The seawater is nice to swim with, with its generally gentle current. The sand is golden brown and is coarse in texture. I look forward to coming here again. Nice beach.

Golf, Zamboanga City
I was third year college in this pic. Golf is usually the place to go during some free times. This resort is somewhere at Calarian, Zamboanga City. It is so-called most probably due to the Golf Area just within the resort. The area is inhabited with many acacia, which provide cooling canopy for the beach goers. There are roofed cottages and there are also just tables with built-in seats.
When I was in Zamboanga, I too had overnight stays with friends at the Golf. The place is secured by a military camp that is just adjacent to the beach.

Palid Beach - A Different Look Last Sept 2, 2007
Malintubuan Beach - Labason, ZaNorte
I am not sure about the name of the beach but I thought it sounds like the title of this post. I was with the Interlude Choir here last May 27, 2007. The beach is adorned with wide fine, white sand. We did not pay for any entrance fee. The water is very clean. The place though is not that developed. (Got a bad hair day here. He-he-he..)
